Ingredients :
- Sabudana - 1/4 cup
- Oil / ghee - 2 tsp
- Milk (Full fat )- 3 cups
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- A pinch of saffron
- Nuts (Cashewnuts, almonds, dry grapes)
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Method :
1. Clean and soak the sabudana for 30 mins. Drain the water and keep aside.
2. In a pan, add oil or ghee. Add drained sabudana & milk.
3. Bring it to boil & cook the kheer over medium heat for 15 - 20 mins.
4. Add sugar, saffron, fried nuts & cardamom powder. Cook till you get the desired consistency. Kheer becomes thick once cooled down. Refrigerate.
