Fried Bread rolls - Perfect crispy snack !!!


Fried bread rolls is a perfect evening snack for kids.  Very delicious with potato stuffing & crispy outside.  We can substitute potato with capsicum, paneer or any vegetables of our choice.  This will surely satisfy the taste buds. 


Ingredients :
  1. White /Wheat bread - 4 slices
  2. Potato - 1 large sized
  3. Oil
  4. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Onion, finely chopped - 1 large sized
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  7. Fresh / frozen green peas - 1 tbsp
  8. Fresh / Frozen corn kernels - 1 tbsp
  9. Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  10. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp
  14. Coriander leaves

Method :

1.  Boil and smash the potato.  Keep aside.

2.  Heat oil in the pan, add cumin seeds and finely chopped onions.  Saute till tender.

3.  Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt to taste. 

4.  Add green peas, corn kernels, chilly powder, cumin powder and garam masala.  Cook for few mins.


5.  Add smashed potato, dry mango powder and cook for 2 more mins.

6.  Ganish it with coriander leaves.  Stuffing is ready.

7.  Remove the side brown crust and roll the bread slices.

8.  Stuff the bread slices with the potato masala and roll the bread.  Seal the edges using water.

9.  Heat oil in the deep frying pan and fry the rolled bread till crispy on all sides.



Serve warm.
