CRAB SOUP - AUTHENTIC PREPARATION


Crab soup is very healthy and also good enough to boost your immunity. Crabs are considered to be high in protein and low in fat & calories. This soup is a best way to beat off cold and flu. 


Ingredients :

  1.  Oil - 1 tsp
  2. Small onions - 10 nos
  3. Ginger - small pc
  4. Garlic - 2 nos
  5. Curry leaves
  6. Tomato - 1 small sized
  7. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  8. Pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
  9. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Crab - 1/2 cup
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Water - 3 cups
  14. Coriander leaves

Method :


1.  Crush ginger & garlic.  Keep aside.

2.  Crush cumin seeds, fennel seeds & pepper corns together.  Keep aside.
  
3.  Heat oil in the pressure cooker, add onion, curry leaves, tomato, crushed ginger, garlic and crushed     spices.  Cook for few mins.

4.  Add crab, turmeric powder, salt & water.  Pressure cook for 3 whistles.

5.  Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Serve warm.
