Besan ladoo is one of the most popular homemade ladoos prepared during the festival seasons. This ladoos are prepared using the gram flour, ghee and powdered sugar. Try to use coarse variety of besan flour or add few tbsp of semolina to fine gram flour. Store it in an airtight container for longer shelf life.
Ingredients :
- Gram flour (Besan) - 1 1/2 cups
- Semolina (Rava) - 4 tbsp
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Sugar, powdered - 3/4 cups
- Sliced almonds - 3 tbsp
- Sliced Pistachios - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Method :
1. Heat ghee in the pan, add gram flour and semolina. Roast them over low heat until aromatic and dark golden in colour.
2. Turn the heat off and allow them to cool little bit, so that it is easy to handle.
4. Take small portions of mixture and prepare ladoo.
5. Garnish it with almonds and pistachios.
Store in an airtight container.
